governance

governance

Governance and transparency is vital for both FISCH Trust in Tanzania and the FISCH UK charity.

On a monthly basis FISCH Trust in Tanzania is required to prepare the Trustees with both financial and activity reports, detailing each item of expenditure and the activities that have been conducted by the team.

These are reviewed and signed off by the trustees, and made available to FISCH UK, who perform a detailed review of activities and financial expenditure and comparison to agreed budgeted expenditure.

FISCH UK takes its role in the oversight of funds sent to be used by FISCH in Tanzania extremely seriously, and believe that the strong reporting and review framework that is in place, together with regular on site visits ensure that we have a high level of confidence that funds donated are spent in accordance with our aims and objectives.
